Background
“Sphenopalatine Ganglion” is bundle of nerve cells which lies deep within your face, toward the back of the nose and is often involved in headache disorders.
Can be used to diagnose or to treat problems linked to nerves such as cluster headache, migraine, shingles, cancer of the head or neck, facial pain, etc.
Procedure
A small tube is placed through the nostril to drip a local anesthetic agent over the bundle of nerves.
Pain relief can last for days to weeks.
