Joe Frensley, MSN, APRN-C

Joe

Born in Western Kentucky, Joe Frensley knew early on that he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare with the goal of improving the health of those in his community. Joe earned an Associate of Science degree from Paducah Community College and went on to continue his studies at Murray State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001.

Joe worked for many years as a licensed Registered Nurse in Illinois and Kentucky where he gained experience in acute care, medical-surgical, and pediatric specialties. Joe has held several leadership positions. He was the director and case manager of a community home health organization, where he led a multidisciplinary team of allied health members. Later, Joe shifted his focus to an administrative role coordinating the transition of patients to short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care. Joe was a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Western Kentucky Chapter, and he was on the Steering Committee for Heart USA, a non-profit organization which helped underprivileged patients receive prescription medications for free through drug company programs.

Joe completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University in May 2018. He passed the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Exam and he obtained his license to practice as a board-certified Family Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Joe’s first practice, as a nurse practitioner, was in pain management under the tutelage of Dr. David Lindenberg, when he was still living in Kentucky. Recognizing the need for a pain management nurse practitioner, Joe and his family made the decision to move from Kentucky to Turlock, California to join Dr. Lindenberg’s newly established practice, NorCal Pain Treatment Center. Joe’s motivation to move across the country stems from his passion for helping to improve the lives of those who do not have adequate access to quality pain management services.

Joe is now a resident of Stanislaus County, along with his wife of 17 years, Allis, and two of his three children, Evan and Alec. He is honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Northern California. Tyler R

Hi, I’m Robin! I came to the Norcal Pain Treatment Center family after practicing emergency and urgent care medicine for a few of the Stanford Healthcare facilities, which is also where I completed the majority of my practicum training during graduate school. My practicum training also included internal medicine and primary care. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and I completed my undergraduate and graduate education right here in town at California State University, Stanislaus. I am excited to be working in the Central Valley region again, serving the needs of our community in a specialty that can help people live more functional, quality lives. Before I became a provider, I worked in many different fields as a nurse throughout California and Nevada, including the emergency specialty at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, and as a critical care transport nurse in the Central Valley. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, motorcycling, and listening to vinyl records.
